About Us

The name "Bad Raven" came partly from Allison's very first attempt at fantasy romance, Raven & Bone (the unpublished novel that is the core of all of The Tapestry worlds) and partly from Doctor Who. It's one of those names that means nothing and everything at the same time. 

Doug and Allison Waechter live in a slightly haunted 100 year old house with their giant monster cats, Neville and James Tiberius Kirk (Tibby). Neither of them can remember what year they got married, but vividly remember the day they met. 

Allison is the author of adult fantasy romance novels, and Doug figures out all the hard math stuff.
